Odd Rods Bubblegum Cards
"Odd Rods" were a series of bubblegum cards from the 1970s, created by the Donruss company. The original series debuted in 1969 and was were illustrated by B.K. Taylor in a style influenced by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. They’re a great example of hot rod culture, or might I say counterculture?— prevalent in the 70s.
I collected these along with many other things like shells and stamps. Interesting how children are natural collectors. I wonder what drives this?
